The International House Fellowship Program helps to ensure the exceptional geographic, cultural and economic diversity that is central to the mission of the House. Fellows are selected on the basis of academic merit, leadership skills and their unique  abilities to contribute to the social and intellectual life of International House. This past year International House Fellows represented nineteen countries from around the world.

The Fellowship Program has been greatly expanded to provide fellowships to graduate students representing every Division and Professional School at the University of Chicago. In addition, the Collegiate Fellowship Program supports outstanding advanced undergraduate students from the College of the University of Chicago to live at the House.
