English Language Institute: How To Register
Registration and classes take place at International House. Students are strongly encouraged to attend the Registration & Placement Fair on Monday, March 31, 2008 from 10am - 12 noon to meet and consult with instructors. Tuition must be paid in full at the International House Front Reception Desk by Friday, April 4. Tuition does not include course materials; fees for materials are extra and are paid at the time of registration. There is no reduction in tuition for late registration. Prorated refunds will be given to students who withdraw on or before April 4. Textbooks and materials are non-refundable. No refunds will be given after April 4. An administrative fee of $25 is assessed on all withdrawals. No classes will be held on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.

Scholarships
Registered University of Chicago graduate and professional school students are eligible for quarterly scholarships to assist with tuition expenses. To be considered, students should complete a scholarship application and submit it to the Office of Programs and External Relations at International House by Wednesday, April 2. University of Chicago students are eligible for half tuition scholarships for one course per quarter. Scholarships will be awarded by April 4.
