Diplomatic Encounters Speaker Series with His Excellency Abdulla Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa

Abdulla Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa was appointed Ambassador by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Court by Royal decree number 66 on September the 15th, 2013. Prior to this, Ambassador Al-Khalifa served as Defense, Military, Naval and Air Attaché to United States and Canada (May 2005 to September 2013). In this capacity he was actively and continuously involved in strengthening the diplomatic relations of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the US, through engagements with Congress, US Department of Defense and State officials, NGO’s and members of defense industry. From 1998 to 2013, Ambassador Al-Khalifa was a decorated fighter pilot, rising to the rank of Colonel in the Royal Bahraini Air Force. His numerous awards attest to his contribution to Gulf Wars II and III, as a mission commander flying over Kuwait, and his accomplishments leading fighter groups in Joining the Ambassador are Mubarak Abdulla Buti, Cultural and Educational Counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Salman AlJalahma, Media Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the various joint military exercises on the regional and international levels.
