2008-09 GRADUATE & COLLEGIATE
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The International House Fellowship Program helps to ensure the exceptional geographic, cultural and economic diversity that is central to the mission of the House. Fellows are selected on the basis of academic merit, leadership skills and their unique abilities to contribute to the social and intellectual life of International House. This year International House Fellows represent fourteen countries from around the world.
The Fellowship Program has been greatly expanded to provide fellowships to select graduate students representing every Division and Professional School at the University of Chicago. In addition, the Collegiate Fellowship Program supports outstanding advanced undergraduate students from the College of the University of Chicago to live at the House.
Eligibility and Application Process
Fellows will reside at International House through the academic year (autumn, winter and spring quarters). Fellows are expected to contribute their unique perspectives and interests to the International House community and become fully engaged in the multi-faceted life of the House through the wide array of programs and activities offered throughout the year.
Graduate and Professional School students at the University Of Chicago are eligible to apply for the 2008-2009 Graduate Fellowship Program. Second-, third- and fourth-year students in the College of the University Of Chicago are eligible to apply for the 2008-2009 Collegiate Fellowship Program. Non-University of Chicago returning residents are eligible to apply for the 2008-2009 Residential Fellowship Program.
