International House and The Body Project, are bringing filmmaker Elena Rossini to campus for a screening and discussion of her new film, The Illusionists. This film is a documentary that explores the epidemic of body dissatisfaction and the globalization of beauty standards around the world. What differentiates this documentary from other films that discuss beauty and media representation is that its focus is truly global: the film interviews in eight countries across four continents, from the United States, to Europe, Lebanon, India and Japan.
