Golden Thread Ensemble: Yiddish Songs of Social Change

Join us for the annual Talat and Isabelle Othman Lecture at International House, presented in collaboration with the Center for Middle Eastern Studies. This year’s lecture features Mohammed El-Kurd, a writer, poet, journalist, and organizer from Jerusalem, occupied Palestine. El-Kurd serves as The Nation’s first-ever Palestine Correspondent and editor-at-large at Mondoweiss, and is the award-winning author of Perfect Victims and the poetry collection Rifqa, both translated into several languages.
