Don’t miss a rare live performance of Japan’s traditional verbal arts, featuring master performers: comic rakugo storytellers San’yūtei Hakuchō and Ryūtei Komichi, dramatic kōdan reciter Kanda Yōko, and monomane mimicry artist Edoya Nekohachi. Immerse yourself in the dynamism of Japan’s contemporary vaudeville (yose) stage! Co-sponsored by International House’s Global Voices Performing Arts program, the Center for East Asian Studies, and the Council on East Asian Studies at Yale University.
