International House is proud to collaborate with Gingarte Capoeira Chicago in hosting the Gingarte Afro-Brazilian Festival as part of the Batizado 2022. Gingarte Capoeira will be celebrating 31 years of Capoeira in Chicago, and they’ve waited a long two years to have their annual troca de cordões. The performance on Saturday night will be fully dedicated to African Diasporic dance.
