Rockefeller Chapel will host the 79th Annual Congress of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America from June 15 to 19, 2022. Congress events include presentations, masterclasses, workshops, and business meetings, as well as social opportunities to meet other carillonneurs – and of course lots of great music! Lots of time will be spent outside listening to recitals, so be prepared with sunscreen, a hat, an umbrella, etc. For more information, visit the GCNA website.

This event is open to the public. Registration (with a fee) is required. All concerts (listed below) and presentations are free and open to the public.

Thursday, June 16th
“Journey” concert at 12:45PM
“Soaring Skies” concert at 5:30PM

Friday, June 17th
“Celebrations” concert at 3PM
Chamber Carillon Concert at 8PM, indoor concert

Saturday, June 18th
“Inspired by Olmsted” concert at 10AM
“Rhymes & Chimes” concert at 2PM, with poems by Robert Frost & carillon music, Iowa State University Campanile-Carillon Model, outdoors on south steps

Sunday, June 19th
Closing Concert at 12PM
