The Undergraduate Philosophy Conference is a yearly event dedicated to showcasing student scholarship in the field of philosophy. Undergraduates from colleges and universities around the country are invited to present their research papers and receive feedback from other students and faculty.

 

This year’s keynote speaker is Anton Ford, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago.  His work focuses on political philosophy and the history of ethics, in particular, Aristotle, Anscombe, and Marx. Professor Ford’s keynote is titled, “The Province of Human Agency”.

 

Free and open to the public.
