For the past ten years ACSA has sought to represent the diversity that characterizes the African and Caribbean Diaspora in Chicago and around the world. This year, we want to welcome members of the UChicago community to engage and look through a window into the various elements of our culture through our annual cultural show. The theme for this year’s show is “ACSA Aesthetics”. Stemming from the desire to gain a new perspective through beauty, this year’s show will encourage participants to appreciate and understand the beauty of African and Caribbean culture through art. This will be showcased through various music and dance performances, a fashion show, live band, as well as spoken word. We hope to provide all attendees with a sense of the aesthetic nature of African and Caribbean culture along with its different forms of artistic expression. Dinner will be served.

Sponsored by the International House Global Voices Performing Arts Series and the UChicago African and Caribbean Student Association.
