Commemorating the end of the Hajj (pilgrimage) and grounded in the roots of Abrahamic sacrifice, Eid-al-Adha is a true feast and celebration.  Join the Muslim Students Association as we honor this holiday two and a half weeks after its occurrence.  This edition of the annual Eid Banquet will feature food from Al-Bawadi Grill, one of the premier Palestinian restaurants in all of Chicagoland.

While our delectable menu is truly a stand-alone reason to attend, it is hardly the Eid Banquet’s biggest selling point. The entertainment offered is the spotlight of the show, with previous Eid Banquets featuring well known spoken word artists, poets, comedians, compelling activists, and speakers. This Eid Banquet, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting Preacher Moss, renowned Muslim comedian, writer for Hollywood heavyweights such as Damon Wayans, George Lopez, and Darrell Hammond of SNL, and the founder of the “Allah Made Me Funny” comedy tour.  Also speaking will be Islamic scholar Ustadh Usama Canon, the founding director of Ta’leef Collective.

Join us for great company, a festive environment, and a few surprises!  Doors open at 6:15PM.

Tickets will be sold in advance during the first two weeks of the quarter at Reynolds Club Marketplace. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended- this event always sells out!

$6 in advance/$8 at the door
