Commemorating the ending of the Hajj (pilgrimage) and grounded in the roots of Abrahamic sacrifice, Eid-al-Adha is a true feast and celebration. Join the Muslim Students Association as we commemorate this holiday just a week after its occurrence on Friday, October 10th at 6PM at Assembly Hall at International House. The Annual Eid Banquet traditionally serves ethnic Middle Eastern or South Asian catered from only the finest, most renowned restaurants in the Chicagoland area.  While our delectable menu is truly a stand-alone reason to attend, it is hardly the Eid Banquet’s biggest selling point. The entertainment offered is the spotlight of the show, featuring Omar Regan, actor, comedian, and songwriter. Join us for great company, a festive environment, and a few surprises.

Regan is internationally known, winning over audiences as far as England, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, China, Malaysia, Zimbabwe Saudi Arabia, Dubai and more. He has appeared in films including “Internet Dating” alongside Katt Williams and “Life is Hot in Cracktown,” alongside Evan Ross and Kerry Washington. Regan has now founded his own production called “Halalywood” and uses entertainment and humor to promote tolerance, diversity, and to build bridges across racial, religious, and social divides.

Open to the public. Tickets will be sold in advance during the first two weeks of the quarter at Reynolds Club Marketplace and at the door for $7 and $10 respectively.
