October 12, 2022

Tiffin Boardroom

Join the Graduate Commons Program as we continue our bi-weekly GRAD Book Club. This quarter, we will read four books on the theme “city.” In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, we will gather to read I, Rigoberta Menchu: An Indian Woman in Guatemala, the autobiography of Rigoberta Menchú. A Nobel Peace Prize winner reflects on poverty, injustice, and the struggles of Mayan communities in Guatemala.

This event is exclusively for graduate students with a valid UCID. Registration is required. I-House will provide copies of the book to the first 15 graduate students that register on the condition that they join the discussion.
