Graduate Commons Programs

Are you a queer international student looking to build community? Are you searching for a space to explore cultural experiences with queerness? Come together, make new friends, and enjoy some light eats at International House’s Rainbow Passport.

We realize that it can be challenging to walk into a room full of peers you may not know, but we invite you to take the leap of faith and discover this supportive, judgment-free space. All are welcome, regardless of where you are in the process of coming to terms with your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Allies are also invited to join us. This community will meet biweekly in a peer-to-peer format without a staff facilitator.

Registration is not required but you must be a Graduate Student or Postdoctoral Fellow to attend and show your UCID at the door.

Please enter through door on South Dorchester Avenue.

This event is organized in collaboration with the International Graduate Student Advisory Board and the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Life.

Persons with disabilities who may need assistance should contact International House in advance of the program at (773) 753-2274 or i-house-programs@uchicago.edu.
