Get ready to embrace the summer vibes in style! Slip into your trendiest summer outfit, put on those comfortable sneakers, and get ready to embark on an extraordinary adventure through the captivating North Shore of Chicago. Join us for an incredible Urban Trek where you’ll have the chance to mingle with fellow UChicago graduate students and explore the wonders that await.

During this exhilarating 3-hour journey, we will set foot on some of the most breathtaking beaches the city has to offer. From the sun-kissed shores of Ohio Street Beach to the serene beauty of Oak Street Beach, we’ll make stops at North Avenue Beach, Belmont Harbor, and Montrose Beach, each more stunning than the last. Prepare to be enchanted by the picturesque views and invigorating atmosphere that will surround you at every turn.

As the trek draws to a close, we’ll find ourselves in the vibrant neighborhood of Argyle. Here, you’ll have the convenience of hopping on CTA buses or the L train to make your way back downtown or to the Hyde Park area.
