‘Dandy Don’ Hedeker (aka Donald Hedeker, AB’80, PhD ‘89, and Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences) formed the Polkaholics in ‘97 by fusing his two main influences: punk and polka. This was an unlikely mixture but the Polkaholics, with current members Dandy Don, drummer Action Jackson Wilson and bassist Blitz Linster, have electrified polka and made it rock!

Free and open to UChicago Graduate Students.
