Join International House for a lecture by National Public Radio’s Seoul Correspondent, Anthony Kuhn, as he shares sounds and pictures collected while reporting news across Asia to give a sense of the issues he focuses on and how he frames his reports.

Anthony Kuhn is NPR’s Seoul Correspondent, covering North Korea, South Korea and Japan. He has lived in Asia for more than 25 years, and worked for 15 years as an NPR foreign correspondent, most of that time spent in China. He also spent three years reporting on Southeast Asia from his post in Jakarta, Indonesia. After years of traveling to the Koreas and Japan for reporting, he moved there in late 2018, to cover those countries full-time. Kuhn received a certificate from the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American  Studies. He received a BA from Washington University in St. Louis. He spent much of his childhood in Chicago, where he attended the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. He enjoyed many an afternoon at Wrigley Field, before the era of night games.
