6-7PM Beginner Class, 7-10PM Open Dancing
Assembly Hall International House
Join International House for a night filled with salsa dancing to promote cross-cultural connections through music. Salsa is a genre that mixes different styles and voices across cultures, thus providing an opportunity to unite communities. Our weekly program “Salsa and Dialogue” will host this event in order to foster wordless communication and communion through music.
We will also have performances by professional dancers, not limited to salsa dancing. If you are interested but have no experience, our GRAD Global Impact Intern Diego Suarez Rojas will host a beginners’ class from 6-7PM. There will be open dancing from 7-10PM.
Free and open to the public.
This event is sponsored by the International House Global Voices Program and the GRAD Global Impact Program.
