The referendum on Scottish independence that took place in Scotland on September 18th, 2014 had the highest recorded turnout – almost 4.3 million voters – for an election in the United kingdom since the introduction of universal suffrage. Join us for a non-political and non-partisan conversation about this historically significant referendum and the challenges facing the Scottish Parliament and the nation. This is part of an annual visit by the Scottish Parliament in celebration of Scotland Week.
