Join us at International House for a captivating evening with the acclaimed vocal ensemble Trio Mediæval, the Don Michael Randel Ensemble-in-Residence for 2025–26, co-sponsored by the University of Chicago Department of Music and International House. Blending the past and present, the trio explores authentic medieval repertoire from Europe while commissioning new works inspired by medieval traditions. In this special lecture-recital, Modern Performance of Medieval Music, they will present both original medieval pieces and contemporary compositions that celebrate the enduring beauty and rich heritage of the era. A reception will follow.
