The colloquium marks the culmination of a year of intense research and writing for the Urban Doctoral Fellows. The students come from the Departments of Anthropology, History, Music, and Sociology, and the School of Social Service Administration, whose work focuses on Chicago and cities around the globe.Faculty members will lead three panel discussions of the fellows’ work, and there will be opportunities for comment from the audience.

Free and open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
