Join International House and the Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts for this Cultural Sunday program that will explore art from Bhimbetka rock shelters! Bhimbetka is an archeological site in central India that spans the Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. They provide a rare glimpse into a human settlement and the cultural evolution and expressions of prehistoric spirituality.

From 10:30AM – 11:00AM, Dr. Ritu Radhakrishnan will make the art accessible to children ages 5-12, bringing them the joy of this art!

Professor Radhakrishnan is an educator of K-12 education. She advises on curriculum development and teaching methods for schools around the country. She is also the Chair of School of Education Diversity Committee and the Chair of the SUNY Oswego College Technology Advisory Board.

The main program, to be presented by Dr. Gowri Ramnarayan, will begin at 11:10AM.

Both programs will run on the same Zoom webinar. Registrants will receive a Zoom link before the event begins.

This program is open to the public with a suggested donation of $15. Registration is required.

To donate, register using a donation ticket instead of a free ticket. Thank you for your support!

This event is cosponsored by International House Global Voices Performing Arts Series and Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts.
