Co-ed campus a cappella group Voices in Your Head is proud to present their annual fall concert at the International House on December 4th, 2013. If you ever found it odd that our mascot is a phoenix despite the frigid Chicago winter, you’ll be happy to learn that this concert’s theme will be “Fire and Ice” – in honor of BOTH of these trademarks of the UChicago experience. We are also pleased to announce that we are featuring guest groups, The Northwestern Undertones and International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella 2013 Finalists, No Comment! Get ready to meet our six new members, hear brand new songs, eat seasonally appropriate refreshments, and much, much more.

 

Voices In Your Head consists of both undergraduate and graduate students. Founded in 1998, the group has recently gained ground in the national collegiate a cappella scene and has released several albums. Voices in Your Head is completely student-run, featuring musical spanning many genres. Its unique repertoire includes original pieces as well as an eclectic mix of pop, R&B, rock, and alternative music. The group competes annually in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and travels nationally to perform at a cappella festivals and tours.

Advance tickets $5 with UCID, $7 general admission. Tickets available at the door for $7 with UCID, $10 general admission.
