Bill Josephson is a distinguished attorney and public servant who earned his A.B. from the University of Chicago, was awarded the University of Chicago Alumni Association’s Public Service Citation in 2007, and has recently been a Shriver Fellow at the University’s Institute of Politics. A graduate of Columbia University School of Law, he is a retired partner of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, has written many articles on law and non-profit issues has testified many times before various Senate and House Committees and taught at George Washington, Cardozo and Brooklyn Law Schools. Bill was Special Assistant to the Director and then Counsel to the Peace Corps from early 1961 until he joined Fried Frank in 1966.  In 1972, he was the coordinator of Sargent Shriver’s campaign for Vice President on the McGovern/Shriver ticket, and is now a senior advisor to the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute.
