Join us as renowned South African activist, advocate, writer, and former Constitutional Court judge Albie Sachs reflects on landmark cases where the court asserted its independence by ruling against the country’s president. Drawing from his experiences both as a sitting judge and as an advocate arguing before the court, Sachs will offer unique insights into the judiciary’s role in safeguarding democracy.
