Join us for an exciting evening of Japanese storytelling (rakugo) by rakugo-ka San’yūtei Ponta II, held in conjunction with the Meiji Modern: Fifty Years of New Japan at the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum of Art. This event is presented by the Center for East Asian studies in partnership with International House, the Japan Business Society of Detroit, and is supported with a Title VI National Resource Center Grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
