Two years after Russian’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the loss of life and the work of recovery and rebuilding continue to pose deep challenges. At the same time, Ukraine faces increasing scrutiny from US lawmakers over continued financial support. In a conversation moderated by Institute of Politics director Heidi Heitkamp, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal will discuss the impact of war on Ukraine’s economy, what post-war reconstruction might look like and explore innovations and recovery efforts. This event is co-sponsored by the Institute of Politics, the Polsky Center, UChicago Global, and International House.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Please enter through door on South Dorchester Avenue.
