John Kuo, the leader of the Chicago-based ensemble Balkan Dances, will give a lecture on Balkan music and rhythms.

Workshop 1:30PM-2:30PM

The ensemble of Balkan Dances will teach guests steps to the most popular dances. Afterwards, the ensemble will give a small performance to the guests.

Performance 2:30PM-3:30PM

The ensemble, in folk dress, will perform so guests can experience up-close the full impact of a fast intricate real-life demonstration

Exhibit

Hand-made instruments and nineteenth century folk costumes will be on display during the event.
