International House Global Voices and Chi Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. are proud to host Maria Costa and her one-woman stand-up performance, “Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them.” In this inspiring and hilarious show, feisty actress/comedian Maria Costa confesses her struggles in loving a traditional “macho” man and takes a sharp look at relationships, women’s issues, cultural diversity and family dynamics. Her performance will be followed by a forty-five minute lecture where she will discuss her creative process, the inspiration behind her show, and her experience as a Latina in the entertainment industry.  There will then be time for a Q&A session.

Ms. Costa’s performance is the highlight of Chi Chapter’s first annual Pi Chi Week of Empowerment.
