The Future of US-Cuban Relations: Miguel Fraga, First Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Cuba
Miguel Fraga has served as First Secretary at the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C. since the re-establishment of diplomatic relations in July 2015. From 2008- he served at the Cuban Embassy in Canada, and has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in both the North American and U.S. Divisions and at the Office of the Minister since 2006. Mr. Fraga was also a member of the People’s Power Provincial Assembly of the City of Havana. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Havana Faculty of La in 2003, and received a MS in Foreign Relations in 2005 from the Higher Institute of Foreign Relations “Raul Roa Garcia”

A Conversation with the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago
Hong Lei has previously served as a Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Deputy Director General, First Secretary, Division Director, Counsellor and Third Secretary at the Department of Information, MFA, at various periods from 1997-2016.
He has also served as an Attache and Third Secretary at the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands (1994-1997) and a Second, First Secretary and Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco. He is currently in the position of Consul General in San Francisco. He is currently in the position of Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago.
