Alumni Weekend 2024 served up school– and class–based celebrations across campus and throughout Chicago; world–renowned faculty in intellectually engaging panels and lectures; your favorite old haunts and new sights and sounds; serendipitous encounters with old friends and classmates; and so much more, spread across four amazing days, May 16–19. This event is by invitation only. Open exclusively to International House alumni, fellows, interns, and staff only.
Keynote Conversation with Martha C. Nussbaum

Join us for a Keynote conversation with Professor Martha C. Nussbaum, Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics, discussing her most recent book, Justice for Animals: Our Collective Responsibility with Claudia Hogg-Blake, PhD’22, teaching fellow in the humanities. A light luncheon will be served. Registration is required.
A Toast to International House: Around the World Wine Tasting

Join us for our annual Around the World wine tasting event as we conclude our 91st year of Welcoming the World, Championing Diversity. This time-honored reception will teach guests about wines from select regions across the globe while they enjoy food and music.
Separate ticket required. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance before May 13. A limited number of tickets may be available for purchase at the door. Must be 21 or older to attend’ government-issued ID required for entry. Registration is required.
Champagne Brunch and South Asian Music Ensemble

Join the International House community for a champagne brunch and performance by the University’s South Asian Music Ensemble. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, current Graduate Fellows and International House Interns. Registration is required. No walk-ins accepted.
