Gretchen Whitmer – A.K.A. “That woman from Michigan” (according to Donald Trump), “Big Gretch” (coined by the rap group Gmac Cash), or Lil’ Gretch (her recent Barbie Avatar) – has served as Michigan’s 49th governor since 2019, and is widely credited for helping to propel other Democrats in this early purple state.
