The Chicago Ensemble is known for its eclectic programs that combine masterworks with surprising selections by composers past and present. Join International House for a brunch to celebrate the conclusion of the academic year and enjoy a chamber music concert led by virtuoso pianist Gerald Rizzer, AB’62, and members of the Chicago Ensemble. The program for this event consists of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K.  414 (composer’s transcription of orchestral accompaniment), Arthur Bliss’s Quintet (1927), Camille Saint-Saëns’s Sonata, op. 166 (1921), and Walter Piston’s Quintet (1949). 

A brunch will precede the concert. Doors open at 12:30PM. Concert begins at 3:00PM. 

Tickets are available for purchase at the door: Free for students with a valid UCID | $30 General Admission | $10 Students.
